My Favorite Sunglasses

Hey guys!

Like the title says, today I want to share with you what some of my favorite sunglasses are! I spend A LOT of time outside, and can't stand squinting in the bright sunshine. (Side note, squinting can actually lead to "crows feet" wrinkles sooner than you think!) I try my best to make sure I wear proper eyewear whenever possible. But, to me, a good pair of sunglasses has to have great protection from UV rays, fit great so they don't slide or pinch, and be super cute! (It is an accessory after all.) So I went through my collection of sunnies and chose a few of my faves.

*Disclaimer: I may earn a small commission for purchases made through some of the links on this page. My views and opinions are never swayed and will only recommend products I love.

The first pair I want to mention are my Ray Ban Signet - Copper Flash. Even though their site says the lenses are a copper color, to me they are a beautiful rose gold mirror. (Though the color can look a bit different depending on the lighting.) The frames are gold metal, with black trim around the lenses. The outer corners have a few striped details, that continue back to the ear piece. I had been on the hunt for rose gold sunglasses for a while, so when I discovered these beautys I knew wanted them for my birthday.

For about 3 years my most worn pair of sunnies were these $12 polarized imitation clubmasters I found on amazon. Don't get me wrong, cheap glasses are great for throwing on at the beach, where they are prone to sand and salt encounters. But I eventually got sick of wearing the beat up pair. So for a different birthday I received the Ray-Ban Clubmaster Classic - Tortoise and Polarized Green. I just felt like I needed a good classic looking pair I can wear with anything. Plus since I upgraded to the real thing they wear actually more comfortable to wear. Not to mention way better quality.

Despite the first two pairs I mentioned, I'm not the type of person to wear really expensive glasses on an everyday basis. I appreciate the craftsmanship and quality of Ray-Ban, but there's a part of me that's scared of something happening to them and crushing my spirits... Until I discovered Blenders Eyewear. They are great quality without being over $100, so I don't feel as guilty having a lot of pairs. (I definitely have A LOT of them...)

The first pair I picked up were the Fifth Avenue Flash. The side stems are metal, with matte black to gradient blue plastic around the super reflective blue lenses. I don't know if it's the way they fit my face, or just the style that they are, but I became obsessed with their sunnies, or "blendz" as they call it.

Once I had them for a while, I ordered the Kate Forest style of blendz. The frames are all matte plastic and feature a super cool tropical print. Plus the green/purple mirrored and polarized lenses really catch peoples attention. I'm obsessed with anything tropical so these quickly became one of my most worn pair!

The addiction continued with my third pair called Carolina Honey. A shiney brown tortoise plastic frame with polarized brown lenses. I prefer wearing polarized sunnies over regular because its been proven to protect your eyes a lot better in the bright sun. I also really liked the gold detailing on the stems of these. I thought the gold and brown tortoise went really well together, and I could wear them with anything and not clash with any colors.

Last, but certainly not least, I have the Shadow Rock style from Blenders. They are matte black plastic frames, with the bottom half around the black lenses crystal clear. I had never seen frames like that before, and knew I wanted it for my growing collection. Plus black frames go really nicely with red lipstick. These frames give a bit of a modern twist to a classic look, without being too over the top.

So those are my 6 favorite pairs of sunnies! Sunglasses are one of my fave accessories, and an outfit is never complete 'til I pick a pair to wear. In fact, I loved the brand Blenders Eyewear so much that I became a rep for them! Which means if you decide to buy anything from their website and use my personal code, you'll get a great discount!
