Nobody's Perfect

Hey there Readers!

I can't believe how long it's been since I last updated my blog! #FAIL

In all seriousness though, I've been going through a lot of personal things and did not feel that motivated to be posting. I've used this time to reflect on all aspects of my life. Family, friendships, and being a content creator/ blogger, to name a few. Life has thrown me a huge curveball and navigating these new changes hasn't been easy.

Going through this time has reminded me that everyone is going through something. We ALL have battles or challenges we may be facing at any given time. Yes, my Instagram feed is filled with pretty tropical photos, but to tell you the truth, it isn't the whole story. In other words:

NOBODY IS PERFECT

My blog is called Lala's Mermaid Lyfe, and this is a part of my life. Yes, I go to the beach A LOT. Yes, I LOVE to swim. And yes, taking photos of tropical things make me happy. But I also face challenges that you could be facing too.

I prefer posting about things that make me happy, and I think most people do the same. Nobody wants to follow a Debbie Downer all the time. So as far as blogging goes, I stayed quiet for a couple months because I didn't want to bring anybody down by not being 100%, authentically ME.

On a slightly different note, I have gone on a couple beach trips since my last blog post. Which I was posting aaaall about it in my IG Story at the time. Exploring my favorite places allow me to reconnect with my passions. Which also means I took TONS of photos. So be on the look out for some new content!

I plan on working on a few new blog posts, but until then, I'll leave you with some quotes that helped me during this difficult time.
